Glorious!

As I sat in a teaching tonight about our inheritance as sons and daughters of God, my mind got stuck on one part of the passage we read. “All of creation is anxiously awaiting the revelation of the sons and daughters of God. This creation was subjected to frustration, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in HOPE, that the creation itself would also be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.” –Romans 8:19-20

OH MY FREAKING GOSH!!!! That is amazing, eh? Literally all of creation is waiting for the day that we realize our inheritance in God. When we realize that we have inherited GLORY, all of creation will be set free and rejoice with us.

In my mind I picture a girl running down a path that is lined with trees and flowers. As she runs, the trees turn in her direction and the flowers shake in the wind. The sky is a brilliant blue color. All of creation is rejoicing with her, because she is running in her inheritance of the GLORY of God. Yes, that is who I want to be. But, how do I get there?

“And we know that God causes all things to work together for the good of those who love Him, and who are called according to His purpose. For those whom He knew beforehand, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that Jesus would be the firstborn among many children; and these whom He predestined, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified; and those whom He justified, He also glorified.” –verses 28-30

We have a DESTINY, our destiny is to become like Jesus, and we are CALLED, JUSTIFIED and GLORIFIED. Say that to yourself. That is how we get there. We invite our minds and bodies into agreement with this truth. I am a beloved daughter of the Most High God. He is my Maker, Redeemer and Healer. I am already free. And, all of creation takes notice of me. That is glorious! Now, I can bring freedom and healing to others.

Am I perfect, nope. Am I free, you know it!

Peace to you my friends… Go and enjoy your inheritance.
